Well, appears BofA's Merrill Lynch acquisition is suddenly old news, since the new topic is now AIG and whether or not the Feds are gonna bail 'em out. Looks like that is what is gonna happen.

I about got in trouble for taking photos. I was stopped by a rent a cop and he told me if cmpd would have caught me I would be in interrogation
I did not know you cannot take pictures of financial buildings without approval of the police chief.

You know, when my DS was last in NYC , he got shooed away from several buildings when he was setting up his tripod. He was told to move along - can't take the pictures. I had forgotten about that. I guess there must have been a financial institution in the frame.

I think that with so many banks in trouble right now, BOA isdoing the right thing by buying banks for cheap, and then when this economy turns around BOA will be an even bigger beast! The are definately smart
