Hello,

I am graduating law school this may and am relocating to NC to study for the bar. I am wondering what the legal market is like in Charlotte? I have been having a tough time locating jobs...

Thanks in advance!

What field in law are you focusing on? I can send you a few leads but they are real estate law firms.

anything would be helpful! Thanks! I'm mostly interested in litigation, but my boyfriend (who is moving as well), is interested in real estate.

There are TONS of law firms in Charlotte - E. Morehead Street is filled with 'em. The four biggest ones (read: over 200 attorneys) are Womble Carlyle, Moore & Van Allen, Kennedy Covington and Parker Poe, but there are PLENTY of smaller firms (30-50 attorneys) as well.

You can go to switchboard.com and enter "Attorneys" and "Charlotte, NC" and pull up names, addresses and phone numbers of law firms in Charlotte. Then just give them a call and ask if you can e-mail or fax them a resume. That's where I'd start if you don't have any leads at all.
