I went to Del Frisco's during Charlotte Restaurant Week in July. I was very disappointed. The service was good, but the steak was not good at all. I'm like the others, I would go with Capital Grille. Mortons is a close second. To me, the difference between the 2 is Morton's Filet Mignon is the best, but overall menu and service, the nod goes to Capital Grille.

The Capital Grille is a must (no-brainer). You will not be disapointed!

Our choice is usuall Ruths' Chris: Filets 'Oscar Style'.
If we are out and about in jeans or casual it's The Palm.

Mortons just always seems stuffy to us, but we have not tried Del Frisco's (been meaning to).

I've been to both (Del Frisco's and Capital Grille) and I much prefer Del Frisco's! It was fantastic both times we've gone and the service was great. If you have a group, you should ask about their wine cellar downstairs. I attended a dinner there and it was really neat. Capital Grille had great food and the service was good, but I prefer the atmosphere of Del Frisco's. Either way "have a great time!"

Del Frisco's is my favorite steakhouse. I have gone to the one in Manhattan a few times and the one in South Park makes you feel like you are on 6th ave. The filet was cooked to my liking, the wine was plentiful, and don't forget to get the butterscotch cheesecake. My wife and I were surprised to get a hand written note from our waiter in the mail thanking us for dining with them...nice touch!
