Has anyone else experienced probs w/ the Sprint network lately? I live near Matthews and the service is awful (just moved about a month ago and had to get the AIRRAVE to be able to use the phone in my house). But now, I'm sitting in my office un University and the service is showing as "1x" rather than "1XEV" as I want it to. Anyone experiencing similar issues??

In the last few weeks, my Sprint reception has been TERRIBLE! The phone fades in and out of service nearly constantly in my house, where we used to get 3-4 bars. Thought the problem was limited to my phone, but apparently not...

This problem just stinks b/c if you call Sprint, they pull up their little coverage map and just say "you're in a covered area."

But it's just been terrible lately and I'm not sure if it's always been like this in the area I live or not. I'm kinda b/w Matthews and the Arboretum and was noticing at a restaurant in the Arboretum Friday that service was a prob there too.

Maybe on the 3rd or 4th try of calling support I could get a tech that would actually shoot straight and tell me that the coverage in the area is just not good. But that's even wishful thinking.

I guess I just have to deal with it??

i have sprint and i haven't had any problems. i live in elizabeth and work in matthews and both are fine. there's only one spot that i consistently have problems in and that's one small stretch along monroe rd. near east meck HS.

that's been my biggest complaint with sprint in all the years i've had them: reception can be great in one spot and terrible 10 ft. away. but i haven't had any problems in charlotte or matthews in the last 2 years.

I have the Sprint data card and the HTC Mogul (6800) I live in Wesley Chapel and often work in University area and don't have any issues. In fact I'm deep inside a building now and can get EV with 3 bars.
