I'm new to the area and need to quickly find a dentist for my 9 yr. old. I have no insurance so being reasonable would help, but obviously qualified and personable matter as well. Any suggestions or info good and bad would be appreciated.

Don't know about the insurance issue, but Laxer Long & Savage is who we see. They came very highly recommended. They are located across Rea Rd from Stonecrest shopping center. Good luck to you!
Pediatric Dentist, Orthodontist Charlotte, NC - Drs. Judy Laxer, Sonny Long and Matthew Savage - Specialists in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry

I second Laxer Long & Savage. We see Dr. Savage.

I don't know about the insurance thing, but you can ask.

What part of town are you in . There is a very resonable dentist in Harrisburg, right off exit 36 (Rocky River Road) on #485
