How long is it taking to sell your phone
Hi everyone,
I know we are all coming from different places, but if you have already sold you home, how long did it take? I just listed one of the homes we have to sell(investment property). We still have our personal residence to sell and I'm nervous. We have a lot of money riding on our contract and can't afford to lose it. The investment property was supposed to go on the market back in October. This and that happened so it's just being listed now. Meaning it's DH fault....LOL
I am so paranoid that I'm offering $10,000 in closing cost assistance and advertising on the local cable channel. Staging is not out of the question either. I'm about to hang a banner with the closing cost assistance highlighted. If all else fails and no contract by the end of March or early April. I'm going to auction off the property. If only we lived in a perfect world, life would be like a greeting card.

Too long
Don't want to scare you, but my home in FL has been on the market for 6.5 months now. I closed on my NC home 2 weeks ago. I am praying something happens soon with the sale of my house... I have gotten offers, but they have been ridiculous ones.

NJmom, we've had one showing. Buyer looking for re-hab with olde world charm (butt ugly)..lol Our property is in an area where old rowhouses are re-habbed with modern accents. This buyer is delusional. Still holding out hope for the buyer looking for quality. I believe the price is right, only time will tell, Property only on the market for 20 days.

Warden -- I just sold my house in Westminster MD in December. We listed in August if that gives you an indication of the market. We actually got our contract in September but our buyers had to sell. Sat contigent from September til early December, finally settled December 29. Good luck, I hear it is suppose to pick up soon in MD though because of Fort Meade relocates coming in. Suppose to be in the thousands.

how long is it taking to sell your home
md to nc
Thanks, I heard that also. I'm hoping things will pick up soon. If not a bridge loan will have to cover us until this thing sells. I'm moving come He** or high water.
Great news Donna! Wish it was me!

I am putting my house up in about a week and I am nervous its in the middle of nowhere here in NH. The realtor says thats good people like peace and quite. I hated it. There is nothing here no grocery stores, no stores, no gas stations. You really have to travel to get food, gas or a restaurant. They do not even allow fast food in the next town over. They had to FIGHT for a Dunkin Donuts. For awhile we were losing power every weekend. No wonder the guy down the street had a generator. Anyway, I sold my other house a year and a half ago in less than 3 months it was also in a small town BUT it was centrally located to everything and alot of major cities for commuters.
