Any ideas on where I can get a short term lease. I only really need around 4-5mths due to home construction in Indian Trail. I would like the same area so I can transfer my son to the local school and begin the headache of IEP and Needs for his Autism in the schools there?
Can anyone advise me on where to look from out of state?
Many aparments offer short term leases. You will have to pay more a month than someone who signs a year lease, but it will serve its purpose. Try apartments.com
Good luck.

I was in a semi-similar situation. I needed a short term lease, so I checked on craigslist and found a room to rent. It was much more reasonable than renting an apartment on a short term lease.
Camden does offer short term leases and they are nice apartments, however it may not work for them because I don't think there are any near Indian Trail. The closest would probably be Stonecrest. If you live outside of Union County, the school will charge you $7 a day per child to attend their schools and will need to provide a copy of the new construction contract.
Maybe try Craigslist and search for homes for rent. Call and see if they will rent month to month.

Good catch, I knew they had a lot of locations, but I didn't realize they didn't have anything that far east.
When I was apartment hunting the only complex I found in Indian Trail was the Meridian apartments. We didn't take it, because we opted for Matthews instead, but according to their website they offer short term leases.

Check with your real estate agent. Have him or her to send you info on some property management companies in the area.I know of a few but they are in N.E. Charlotte. sorry.
I can help you out with a short term lease at my property, but it is in Matthews. If you don't find anything closer and want to give us a try, just PM me.
