Default Charlotte Sports Bars

Hi all,

I have a very important question. I'm going to be in Charlotte this weekend, but need to get my college football fix. Can anyone recommend good sports bars in the Uptown area? Also, nowhere creepy for a nice girl to hang out...

Thanks in advance!

The main street in uptown in Tryon. There is a bar on Tryon called "Fox and The Hound" at 330 N Tryon St. Accross the street from there is Rock Bottom which has a big bar and great food. There are a ton of bars in this part of uptown and you can walk around Tryon St. and should be able to find a good one. Its a safe area but there will be many homeless men on the street which unfortunetly is just the way it is in uptown Charlotte on that side of town. Nothing to worry about though and there will be lots of young people out and and about looking to watch football too.

One other good sports bar in this area is Stool Pigeons (link Untitled Document) they have lots of tvs and very good bar food.

I'm no uptown pro, but I agree with everything frankthetank said, all good spots. I like Rock Bottom.

I agree with Stool Pigeons. Another place I like to watch sports is Picasso's Uptown. It's located on the corner of 3rd and Church. Plenty of parking in the area(lots and a parking garage right on 3rd). I favor Picasso's because of their large screen tv and the leather couches to watch games with flat screens :-)

Another good place is the Blackfinn in the Epicenter on the corner of College and Trade. Uptown has a lot of good options. Just outside of Uptown, Picasso's is a great one too. Stool Pigeons is great though b/c they also have good food too along w/ lots of TVs. Have fun, our Uptown is one of the cleanest downtowns for a large city in the nation.
