Default Texaco - corner of Sugar Creek & Harris

The truck is there right now putting some gas into the tanks. Of course all the pumps have somebody sitting there waiting for them to turn the pumps on.

We passed by gas at the Rea Village Shopping Center on Providence Road about 2 hours ago. The lines weren't very long but I don't know how much gas they had left.

You might read a few more posts then. Several of us here have stated we are staying in to conserve as well as combining trips, etc. How many folks in the mall did you ask if it was their only trip out this week or are you assuming it was only you who was conserving and everyone else who had driven to the mall was not?

As for me, I stated that I stayed in all week, and will again this week. I work at home so that makes it easier, but I work at home so that makes it harder too. It will probably make me buggy to the point where I need to get out next weekend. Mine might be one of the cars you see at the mall or in some restaurant parking lot using up the gas I bought and paid for.

i have cut down a 4 mile x 3 times a day car trip to once a day by using neighbors car pools and only shopping for groceries during the school run time to save going out just for groceries. other than that we are only making a longer trips into charlotte where necessary and trying to make it a 4 hour trip where we stop everywhere before we come home

If someone can help me out I would very very seriously appreciate it.

I am sitting in downtown Charlotte and I have such little gas in my car that I am very scared to take any more trips out to find fuel. I have been out and have yet to find a place to even sit in line and wait for gas.

If anyone can tell me of a place that definitely has gas this evening within a 10 mile ride from downtown I would greatly appreciate it. If I have to go beyond 10 miles and find nothing... I might be stuck.

Burgundy, you actually got gas at Providence & Ardrey Kell? I stopped in there about two hours ago and they were sold out, but had a lot full of cars waiting.

I was able to find gas at the tiny Marathon station on Providence/North Broome Street further down the road in Waxha. Twenty minute wait.

On Fox News, they just said it could be a couple of weeks to get back to normal. And our officials wonder why we don't trust them... Wasn't it just a couple of days ago we were told things were supposed to be beter by the end of this weekend?

WalMart at Sardis Rd N was getting a delivery when I was by there 30 minutes ago. The lines were not as long as they were the last few days, but still about a guesstimated 45 minute wait.
