wouldn't filling up jugs only make the problem worse?

For all you night owls like me, there is currently plenty of gas at the Rea Road On the Run station (north of Ballantyne Commons/across from Stonecrest). They have 3 guys directing the cars to the pumps and it only took me about 5mins to get gas around 1:10am.

They have had long lines since I passed them this evening around 8pm but they continue to do a good job of getting people "on the run" quickly.

Hope that helps someone out there!

The station at Sharon and Fairview(Exxon?) had it about and hour and a half ago...a lot of cars there for 3am but no lines. People were half joking with eachother half on edge. I was personally jovial because this was the first time i've gotten gas in Charlotte in a week and I didn't have to deal with any guns getting pulled on me!

I hope water gets into all your gas jugs lol
j/k

I was really upset yesterday, but then I heard something on the radio. (91.9)
We need to be grateful for the stuff that we already have..
We have been spoiled too much, and then we expect everything like little babies.

Anyway

I would recommend that everyone start calling the local gas stations.
GET THEIR NUMBER!
My wife called like 50-60 gas stations last night, and she found 2 that were right next to each other.

I have noticed that the gas stations that have gas are along major highways or exits right off of major highways. Those that are closer to home will more than likely not have any....

I'm aggrivated for all of you poor souls who sit in line for fuel when you could have just stayed home and waited.

I thunked ahead and filled up muh gas jugs before all this started. :

This is the craziest thing I've ever heard. Thank goodness nothing like that is going on here yet.

Any gas in SE Charlotte?
We are enjoying a lazy family day around the house and have not ventured out yet.

I have 3/4 tank, but the wife has ridden around on reserve for two days and I will need to get her fuel today or tomorrow. Worst case scenario I will siphon some from my car or just give her a few gallons from our 5g lawn can.

Is the situation better today, the same, or worse?
