Well, if it is Christmas stuff you are craving, wander on over to Black Lion in Pineville. That should fix you right up!

Anyone have any suggestions on how to protect your village from cats?? Have not put mine out since we got the kitty's 2 years ago. I can maybe scale it down and put it on a bookshelf w/ plexiglass over it, but would love to know if they make such a thing to "safely" display your villages.
Thanks for any suggestions .......... I miss my village.

Ah yes...cats in the village...my Bowsie girl used to love playing "Catzilla" in my village. I always made a wide boulevard for her. Plexiglass is about the only thing you can use. They do sell beautiful vilage curio cabinets, but they are costly & you need tohave the space to put them up in.

Hey....all you villagers out there....there's a D56 group on yahoo you might be interested in looking into......Matt has people from all over in it with TONS of photos & display tips, techniques & ideas that you can use.

OMG!!! The first photo I came across had a big siamese cat laying in a Christmas Village. I'm still laughing. I guess I should just set it up and hope for the best. I'm afraid they will break small pieces when they claw at the cotton. What's a mother to do?

LOL, yep...that's one of the village groups I belong to. I'm also in the circle one & the one I told you about. (what can I say, I love my village).

I would suggest the D56 one, that's the original one (Matt's group). There's links on there with tons of info & Dan's photo archives of member's displays & collections. Some of the displays are just incredible...beautiful. Some are....ummmmm....a bit much, but hey, whatever floats your boat & makes you happy is OK with me.
