With everyone so focused on GAS the last couple of days, I haven't seen anyone mention anywhere that Charmeck Utilities gave us all another day of watering back! (I searched, forgive me if I missed it!)

Charlotte Utilities - News Stories

Cliff notes version:
* Customers with odd-numbered addresses may water on Tuesdays & Saturdays.
* Customers with even-numbered addresses may water on Thursdays & Sundays.

Just in time for fall fertilizing and reseeding.

Of course, it's supposed to rain for the next few days... But still! Water!

Sweet. I've got even and odd numbers in my address. I can water all I want!

Wait. How is this different from what so many people have already been doing? Didn't they announce that they were not writing any more citations a month or so ago?

I never stopped watering. I did it b y hand, but I didn't stop. I'm not about to eat several hundred dollars that I spent on landscaping. Not even an option.

Please tell me you mean that you were just actually watering the landscaping by hand -- flowerbeds and trees and such. Because that's always actually been allowed. It's the lawn watering we weren't allowed to do more than one day a week since...forever.
