I know it's early, but maybe someone will have a favorite spot. I would love a fresh wreath to hang on my front door when it gets closer to winter. Where can I get one? We found a fine one last-minute at Lowe's last year, but I'd like something a little fresher from a stand somewhere. I'm in South Charlotte. Thanks!!
Many of the Garden Centers will have fresh wreaths, however I find some about as more pricier than the trees you can get fresh wreaths at same place you can get a tree right from a NC christmas tree farm how cool is that for a new tradition. Talk about fresh.
Try ordering one from LL Bean. Every year, I order a fresh table top tree from there to be sent to my son's grandmother in FL. She loves it and says that it lasts a really long time.

I get my LL Bean table tree and wreath every year --- nothing smells better than their pines!

Make a day trip to the North Carolina mountains and buy from your fellow North Carolinians. People have been doing this for generations. There are many farms up here where you can pick your tree out in the field and buy wreaths as well. There are people that will cut it for you. Some farms have special hay rides and special days just for families. Some have plans that will even ship out of state for you. There are fresh wreaths and trees that are cut every day in this area. N.C. Christmas Tree Association has a web site where you can find out where all this takes place. Buy in N.C.
The one from Lowe's, or other major retailer (we usually get one from Sam's) is fine. To make it last as well as a 'fresh' one take it home and soak it in a bathtub full of cold water for 24 hours, then hang it outside.
Keep in mind if you hang it between the front door and a storm door, the sun will cook it to a crisp in only a few days.
