I visited CLT the last 2 years, and am coming back down again in mid-October, I'm thinking of relocating with the wife and soon to be kid

I noticed there is some sort of Epi-Centre being built, is this an entertainment complex, and if so is it up and running? Someone told me their is a bowling alley and a Howl at the Moon Piano Bar?

I also saw something somewhere about an Epi Center 5pm type of Happy Hour on a Pavillion?

Last year I stayed at the Marriott on Trade and Tryon...is this in that main area?

Sincerely,
Umaga

EpiCentre At 5 - Charlotte's Best After Work Party! Every Thursday!!

The Epicentre is still in construction. Howl at the Moon is open, as well as Whiskey River and Blackfinn. I think there is one other nightclub that's open, but I can't remember the name of it.

It is located 1 block southwest on Trade St. at the corner of Trade and College Streets.

It looked like Fleming's was open or close to open....

Driving though the other night I saw a now hiring sign for "Strike Lanes" or something like that(the bowling alley) so i'm guessing it has to have a soft opening date sooner rather than later.

As mentioned, parts of EpiCenter are still under construction, including the bowling alley It is kind of confusing, because there is still scaffolding all over the place. If you come in from College street, that is the main entrance and is about a block down from your hotel (corner of College St and Trade St., more or less). There is an upstairs "courtyard" area that has been used for a happy hour type of event, at least on Thursdays. I don't know how long they will keep doing that though since it is open air.
