I'll be at the race. As a matter of fact, I won a contest, and get to drive a Tundra for driver intorductions. I am so freaking stoked I cant stand it!!! Not sure if it's a TOS violation to do so, but thanks WSOC for this awesome opportunity!!! Sunny, I'll be sure to wave to you! Yo'll have a great time!! Oh- Go Tony!!!!
If I drove, I'd probably get Ky Busch and then I'd have to fight the urge to "brake-check" every couple hundred yards!

LMAO
As for the free tickets... Thanks for the link. But, I am buying a house (paperwork is tomorrow!!) so I don't think that is a wise choice! I'll pay (darn it!)
Sunny you are going to have a good time. Theres lots of stuff to do before hand. You can walk around to all the big rigs selling various race items or visit the local race shops in the area. Traffic is a nightmare so get there early and as some others suggested, go ahead and tailgate. Bring a pop up tent and have fun!!!!! Definitely be ready to people watch, its very entertaining to say the least.
I went to the race in May but was in the condo's. It was awesome!!
GO TONY!!!
Sunny, be sure to wear comfortable shoes/clothing, dress in layers and go early to avoid the traffic. Once you park, there will be people everywhere tailgating, playing games, camping out and people watching. There is a huge temporary community that springs up all around the track and offers a ton of things to do. Be sure to visit the souvenir trailers and wear some gear to support your favorite driver.
NASCAR fans are some of the greatest and most friendly people that you will ever meet. Make some new friends, they'll probably offer you food and drink.
Pack a cooler because you can take food and drink into the track (max size is 14"x14"x14" no glass though).
Last but not least, find the Sprint FanView trailer and rent one of these for the race. You can listen to driver/team communications, view live stats, watch in-car cameras and replays.
I can't I'm a fan of racing, but I was definately tempted to join the speedway club, the view of the track from there is almost overwhelming! Makes racing look awesome!
