I need Halloween costumes for the kiddos. I don't darken the door of Wal-Mart, so please don't suggest there! I've tried Target but my daughter wants to be a fairy princess with wings(!) and I want Thing 1 and Thing 2 costumes for the boys, and we didn't find either at Target.

Any ideas, or should I just shop online?

Thanks!

Try Morris Costumes or Party City.
Morris Costumes
Party City - Halloween Party, Birthday Party Supplies, Party Decorations, Scene Setters, Costumes, Balloons

Both are in Charlotte and have several different locations. Just check out the store locators on both.

Last yr there was a place at Concord Mills that was quite large and seemed to have everything, I don't remember the name though.

I have had good luck in the past at consignment stores for costumes. You could try Kids at Heart in Matthews or Once Upon a Child (I think that's what it's called) on 51 in Pineville.

I don't know the store name, but a halloween store just opened where the Old Navy was at the Arboreteum.

Spirit Halloween is open again - it's in Neighborhood #2, opposite the Nike outlet & Dave & Busters.

Spirit Halloween has 3 locations in the Charlotte area...
Concord Mills (as someone said), Matthews right off of Independance, and the Carolina Place Mall. If they don't have what you want at a specific location they can call the other ones. Good luck!

Look at Rite Aid. I was in one today & saw a dress that looked appropriate for a princess & they had packaged wings.
