Looking for places to take pictures of my wife at. Ideally it would be private places with some sort of backdrop. Like old buildings, bridges, water, landscape and etc. I know some people have to know of some out of the way places like this. Some secret hide-a-ways....

We are in the Mooresville area, so in this area would be great or the Iredell County area. We can drive around and find places, but was wondering if people knew of specifics as we won't have a lot of time.

Guess I don't understand...are you planning to take X-rated pics or something?? Because all you have to do is ride over to the lake to get some nice pics.

Like Loves said, the lake offers plenty of opportunities for "G" rated pics.

I'd also recommend Murray's Mill and the Bunker Hill Bridge over in Catawba County as historical backdrops.

we live near the lake and there aren't as many places to go there as people think. We aren't taking x rated pics but more glam style...we just don't want people leering or anything...been to murrays mill.. might try bunker hill bridge...

Might try the top of an Uptown parking garage in teh evening hours on a weeknight...maybe even weekend night too. As long as it's in the right place (which I can think of several without even trying), they'd offer great views of surrounding buildings and/or skyline. Just pay a few bucks to "park" and have at it.

A few years back we tried that at 7th street station and the security guard told us to leave and that people couldn't be up there at night due to terrorists threats. That might be lifted by now but I would ask before you pay.

(<-- that's to the situation, not you)

Yet another example of how terrorists have screwed our comfortable life.

...because you know a camera can bring devastating affects on a downtown!

Sorry...rant machine powering down....

Even still...I see garage decks with little to no cars and virtually no people walking around everyday from my office. Mid-day wouldn't be un-doable.
