Went out last minute to find some challah bread for the Jewish New Year. HT did not carry any (unless they were out.) For the future, where can I get good challah?

The H-T at the Arboretum usually has it -- but you may want to try Gliebermans -- it's up Providence Road in the Independence Square shopping center. They have kosher meat there as well.

And my mom just told me that Trader Joe's carries fresh (not frozen) Empire Kosher chickens...maybe they have challah too...

H.T. at the Cureton Center had tons of loaves yesterday...you might want to call all the H.T.'s in your area first.
Happy New Year!
