um, yeah! I do not think I would be sitting there on my jet ski. My picture would have an arrow pointing to a dot!
Yeah, in retrospect, that sucker could have caused an interesting situation if he'd decided he had enough of me oogling and whipped off the bank in my direction! I think the rest of the pictures would have been of the bottom of the river since I'd have dropped the camera in spun around nailing the throttle on teh ski!
For the most part, gators are a lazy mix of docile and dumb. Unless they have a nest or are seriously provoked, they just lay there and look at you...probably plotting how many different ways you'd taste good...but nonetheless, they just sit. Many times as a kid I'd tempt fate by throwing sticks at them and yelling at them...they'd just sit and smile and wait for me to lose my footing on the bank!

We just went to Compare Foods on Tryon, and my Wife is happy! She found a lot of stuff her Mom buys at Sedanos in Miami. I couldnt believe the Produce prices! Celery was .89, HT has it for 2.99. Garlic cloves were 5/1.99, HT has them for .89 each. I dont like going to WalMart, so cant comment on their prices, but Compare was only 15 minutes away, so I will definitely go to them for produce for now on.
If you find an Aldi grocery store around, check it out. Really cheap.
im in charlotte, from boca raton . one year , i decided to stay another year. pepole are very nice,some crime but its common,good football team ,so so basketball,NASCAR, no baseball or hockey . but there is a lot of constuccion going on , they want to be a big city , i say there almost there , 10 more years this city is going to be top of the line. good public transportation.lite raill. its a good move to move out here. the locals are receptive of the migration from florida. there is a lot of us here come on up.
I did think of the only downside that I can fine. Today is payday, there are state taxes here. I think NC taxes their taxes. My husband makes the same amount and he brings home considerable less on his paycheck.
