I'm going after work today...
I used to like KFC but their quality control is suspect and they are always out of original wings.

How much spicier is Popeye's than Bojangle's? How else does it differ?

In my opinion, Popeye's seems to be a bit greasier than Bojangle's. I did like the Popeye's dirty rice. To be honest, I ususlly pull off any skin or fat anyway, so I miss the seasonings. But, Bojangle's has chicken livers in some places. I am not sure what other chicken places have them.

I almost never eat out, including fast food. That said, Popeye's has really good dirty rice.

IMO it's a little spicier.. but much tastier, if that makes sense. The reason I like Popeyes so much is there chicken is cooked harder... I don't like Bojangles because the chicken has a rubbery texture and feels undercooked.

Just got back from there today. The lines are crazy. It makes other restaurants in concord mills seem like their closed. lol
Bojo chicken does taste rubbery and under cooked. Plus their chicken seems wayyyy greasier than Popeyes. The chicken at Popeyes is spicier and taste really fresh compared to Bojo. It was about a 15-20min wait, but it was worth it.
Protip: Get a 8pc family meal if your eating for two. The individual combos are about 8bucks each, so a family meal is a better bargain.

I think Popeyes chicken is tastier, crispier, and spicier. Overall better. Bojangles is soft and rubbery, and seems undercooked. But both can be a bit greasy, but afterall, it is fried chicken. Plus Popeyes has good red beans n rice. And glad to hear they're doing a good business, as I expected.

Be nice if the darn thing wasn't in the mall. I still can't believe all the hype for Popeyes when it comes to chicken around Charlotte.
Sure, Popeyes is a spicy change, but as to me when it comes to fried chicken, I'll just stick with Prices.
With a "Dive" type appearance, I love the fact it's a sleeper on all accounts based on that alone and probably, the most celebrated one in the US.

If you've never been, just google it. Then try it. I guarantee you'll be hooked.
