Put them side by side and there is no comparison: Popeyes > Bojangles.

I live in Covington, GA and we have a Bojangles and a Popeye's and I mainly go to Bojangles for breakfast and Popeye's for lunch, something else for the Atlanta vs. Charlotte crowd to go at each other's throats about since Bojangle's is HQed in Charlotte and Popeye's in Atlanta LOL!

Lord have mercy. Now it is gonna be the chicken wars? I don't like any of it. Nothing is as good as my own friend chicken, but I haven't made any in years b/c I rarely fry anything these days.

I can't believe anyone would get fighting mad over chicken, of all things. And driving for a $4.99 special? Heck, you use up your gas so that adds to the cost, so it was not really that big of a bargain after all.

I would just as soon have a bowl of cereal, LOL.

Are you serious???? Popeye's is the best chicken in the world!!! Yes I have been in Charlotte for about 6 years and Bojangles gets none of my money!!!!! Crazy thing is I know where they are. There is one off of Exit 138 on 85 going north and on 77 it is the Garner's Field exit going towards Columbia. I have traveled both ways to get my fix of the Popeye's Chicken. Bojangle's can try to imitate but HUNNY THEY CAN NEVER DUPLICATE the world's best chicken...Popeye's Chicken!!!!!

It's exit 138, ~100 miles north of town. I believe there's also one ~100 miles south around Greenville somewhere. Bojangle's has no spicy chicken, so I don't know how people can even compare the two. Popeye's hands down.

Something funny about the name Popeyes -- they left out the apostrophe. It really should be Popeye's. Whenever I see an their ads or signs, the words "Pope Yes" jumps out at me.
