I have a half tank of gas, for weeks now. Am in conservation mode. I have put in a few gallons every now and then... but have waited in line most times. Got lucky once, filled up, did a much needed major grocery run. 5 mins after I filled up, the station (in mooresville) ran out of gas! I live in the north county area, and drove upto Sam Furr rd this morning, but the stations still have no gas! What gives?

Am I the only one having trouble finding gas???

Try the Shell at Rosedale off exit 23. I haven't check today but I am in mood for some coffee at Jackson Java so Ill let you know around 11 a.m if they have gas or see if the other shells LOL (First town I been in and there a shell on every corner. I travel alot for work and I am in SC alot but I havent ran any issues with Fort Mill or Rock Thrill. There is a Murphy Gas in Cherryville and that is owned by Walmart. Walmart has "power" because during this whole crisis they seem to always have gas.

I was the ONLY person pumping gas around 6am, Shell on 74 beside the new Scott Clark Toyota.
First time I've found and been able to pump premium in weeks!

Great I was just going to ask if anyone has seen any premium around.

Highland Creek area seems to have gas pretty frequently now. I've found that weekends are the best time to find gas.

There is gas in most stations in South Tryon. Steele Creek Road and Shapton Road is also good, with all three grades available. No lines no shortage.

South Park area was still out this morning(15 min ago). I was a bit confused because I thought we were coming out of the 'no gas' situation...

I just went by that shell off exit 23 and they had gas with no waiting It is high like Huntersville and Charlotte typically is at $3.89

You can go down to SC and pay around 3.66
It worth the drive IMO considering that is 23 cents cheaper a gallon

The Shell stations on Albemarle (at Farmpond) both have had gas for several days now - the one only shows the price for regular, but the other has Regular and Plus - didn't have premium yet. They're running $3.89 for the regular. The Shell on the corner of Lawyers and Albemarle has all three grades, and the stations in Mint Hill both have Regular now - and have for a few days. The crunch isn't over but it does seem to be easing.
