It's ok, nothing fabulous about it. Service some days could be lacking. Ol days is a 5 minute ride for me, my daughter likes going, I put up with it because of her. I like flounder, eggs and home fries. Flounder tastes like it came straight out of a box. Like I said, I don't particulary care for it unless I'm eating simple burger/fries or bacon/eggs.

It is less than a mile from us and we have eaten there maybe 5x in 11 years.
We keep retrying it since it seems to be so popular, but the results are always the same:
Food, mediocre (everything tastes microwaved).
Service, good.
Restaurant, filthy.

We have tried it about 3 or 4 times over the past 5 or 6 years as it is quite close to us (never for breakfast though) and everytime I go I say "never again". Sorry it's not up to par for the price.

I've always enjoyed it! And, the owners are very civic minded, giving generously to those that are disadvantaged for one reason or another. Their Christmas parties for orphans are phenominal.

I always thought it was overpriced for not so great food. The waffles taste like they are frozen.

Try LePeep instead. It's in the same shopping center closer to Michael's. Better food than Good ole Days.

Northerners were recently talking about the absence of diners locally. I mentioned a couple of them that still exist. But, there really weren't called diners, they were called "grill" in the local area. Seems like Waffle House did most of the in.
