This, i look forward to. We dont have a wraparound, but we do have a front porch with a swing and steps to sit on, and a ton of foot traffic walking by.

You can do what my wife and I did this weekend when we went down for our pre-drywall inspection. We walked around the neighborhood a little bit and just knocked on random doors introducing ourselves as their soon to be neighbors. We were very surprised at how many people invited us in and we ended up having conversations that on average lasted no less than 45 minutes. Many people were like "When you guys move in, feel free to come by or if you need help moving in feel free to let us know." It was very reassuring as we were feeling a little uneasy about our community and our builder. We came home feeling a little more confident about our decision. Plus the inspection went great and the inspector was only able to find tiny little things that he said were really no big deal at all.

I think the name was Precision Inspections. I will PM you when I get home later tonight all their info when I get to look at the card. My realtor actually uses them on a regular basis. It cost us $310 but to be honest it was probrably the best money we could have spent on the house yet. We were so uneasy with our builder and when the inspector said everything for the most part looks great, minus a few minor things it was a great stress reliever and we felt a great big weight lifted off our shoulders. Especially when our realtor said don't freak when you see a laundry list of things he found wrong because that is what they are paid to do and when he came back with only 3 or 4 things we were just amazed. We are going to have them come back for a final inspection too. Can never be too thorough IMHO.

Great thanks, I have been looking around at the inspectors and the more feedback on them I can get the better.
As for my peace of mind I am looking at inspections for pre-drywall and final walk through, I no a lot my self but would rather pay to have an independent professional look.
