The Uptown Morton's has been around for 14 years. I highly doubt it is going anywhere. The company stated that the Uptown Morton's is still one of the higher performing restaurants in the chain. To the other poster, it might have just been a slow night.
My guess, like everyone else's, is that the area had too many steak houses and one of them had to go. Also, I have heard of people having a not so good experience at the SouthPark Morton's. It'll be interesting to see what will eventually replace it. If it's a chain, I'd love to see a Benihana, Houston's, or Houlihan's.

Let's see how long the Independence Blvd Boston Market can hold out, now that the Cracker Barrel has opened just up the road.

LOL. That is one of the oldest marketing scams ever. I have seen so many signs of furniture warehouses closing in my lifetime that I am surprised any are still open.

I do like the idea of the property being more pedestrian friendly. The way that people race through there its only a matter of time before someone gets hurt or killed.

Ingress and egress from that shopping center sucks. It is hard to get out on 51 if you have to turn against traffic. I hope they will re-configure that when they start work on renovation.
The BB&T location is awkward, as well, especially w/ the Exxon and fighting the traffic that it generates, along w/ the turn off f/ 51 located at that same nexus. Highly aggravating.
