I guess the gas station on the corner is history too.
I think the gas station is supposed to stick around a while longer. Several houses along that strip by knife/fork are already down.

On sharon amity/albemarle the old steakhouse is being torn down and a new lane of some sort to pierson/"new" walmart is being constructed now as well.

I notice another closed Quiznos. There were some notes taped to the door so it must have recently happened. Maybe all the Charlotte area Quiznos have gone out of business.

Quizno's is on the verge of defaulting. They've closed 1,500 stores across the country during the recession.

What steakhouse was there? Do you mean the Philly Steak place? I was just curious because I have never seen a steakhouse in that area, although it may have been before my time as a Charlatan.

There used to be either a Long Horn or Lone Star Steakhouse there.

There was a Lone Star at the corner of Sharon Amity & Albemarle. I liked Lone Star, but that location has actually improved by being torn down.

Oh, my bad. I thought the person said Indy & Sharon Amity. I never go over to Albemarle.

I actually liked Phil and Tony's! Darn...
