The only Kool-Aid I drink is the real Kool-Aid. The stuff you add lots of sugar to. I do not drink the doom and gloom kool aid.

Swingers and cougars? I knew I'd been going on the wrong nights.

The point of my post was that the statement "nearly everything in that plaza is going out of business" is incorrect.
Got that, I was trying to point out that it seems like the places that are surviving in this environment are the larger corporations with deep pockets.

Makes me wonder if they get a break on their rent since they have more leverage with landlords, which are probably other corporations where the chains have other properties. Like why you see Bed Bath and Beyond coupled with PetSmart, and World Market every where you go in these cookie cutter shopping centers country wide.

Perhaps there should be a "Have you noticed a lot of businesses going in business" thread? We can't have this positive nonsense here

Its really sad because this marios was superior to the one by the Y. It wasnt like that Donatos, Papa Johns, Dominos, Wolfman, Tonys garbage. It was true NY pizza (not "style" pizza)...

Well, the Ascot Inn is no more. Sounds like we lost a big winner here.
