When I went by this week, they had a hand written sign that they were closed. Tonight, even the Blockbuster signs had been taken down, so that must be a serious remodeling.

On the other hand, the Blockbuster at the Arboretum became an enormous AT&T wireless store. They don't let stores stay empty very long in that center.

Well, not always. The pizza place, Avanti, burned down two full years ago and is still empty today.

I agree. I don't get there often, but when I do, I only go into the anchor stores. Closing that store will put a severe hit on that mall.

There seemed to be some insurance issues with that mystery fire. Last time I was able to peek in there, there was nothing but some plumbing in there.

There seems to be some activity at Avanti. I was at Versona last weekend and it looks like someone's doing something there. I miss that place!

Salsa's on Carmel road is no longer there, but it was replaced with "Cabo's".........Not Cabo Fish Taco. Anyone ever hear of them? Try them? (They are doing a nice facelift on that shopping center)
And, to add...... it looks as if a hair salon is taking over one of the empty spaces near where Luisa's pizza was I think.

Wonder if all the Salsa's are going....... adios? I know I posted when the one in Matthews closed.

Buckhead Saloon, uptown. This one was surprising. For a bar uptown, it lasted a long time without a name change.
