Boaters World is owned by Ritz Camera who filed for bankruptcy. All stores are closing. Although sales at those stores were certainly down I think their closing was more related to the bankruptcy of the parent company.

Are the doors still open to liquidate? Or are they locked up and lights off?

Might have been a good time to pick up a boat at a terrific price.

I was very saddened to hear about Ritz Camera.

Griffin Square in Matthews seems to be going under. There's a big sign out front offering someone the chance to either lease or buy the space.

They had at least four new ones move in recently. I guess that place doesn't really miss a beat.
