Bummer. luigis pizza in dilworth is closing. they say it has to do with HT expanding. It might also have to do with mellow mushrooms recent boom in that area? The other two locations of luig will still be open.

Lone Star Steakhouse in Pineville. Then I looked on the website and the Charlotte location on Sharon Amity is gone too (I don't know how long).

The one in Monroe still shows up though.

The Lone Star in Pineville had probably the worst service of any of the Lone Star restaurants that I've been to. Too bad its gone though.

Yes, it is really apparant. Some of the strip malls that had thrieving businesses a few years ago are gone. It does seem that restaurants are generally holding although small pizza and sandwich places seem to be stuggling.

I hear that the Midtown Sundries Lake Norman has closed, due to both the economy and bad business decisions of the owner.

The Soul Food place will probably be closed soon, too. That building has had a couple different restaurants since I have lived in Matthews.
