Hello

I'm planning to move to NC to attend Carolinas College of Health Sciences and I reallllllly need help finding an apartment
Im looking for a 1 bedroom/1bathroom apartment thats safe for a single female, not too far from the campus, close to town (shopping, grocery, etc)
I really want the rent to include water and sewer...
$500-700 price range
I hear lots of bad things about charlotte and places to avoid...like east, west, and even university area (even though it looks nice)
i really dont know where else to choose...that will give me decent apartment for my budget and thats safe. I only hope to stay in the apartment for 2yrs (unless its bad experience..hope not)..and move somewhere like uptown, etc. (since everyone says its sooooo nice..LOL!! i cant wait to visit)

anyone know/experience anything with the apartment complex: The Links at Citiside Apartments, 5005 Community Cir, 28215
its in my price range, includes water and sewer, nice looking, but its located in upper east charlotte??? ...(hmm.....)

any other suggestions for places?? pllllllllllleeeaaasssssssssseeeee

thanks a bunch

Default Sedgefield

The Sedgefield apts at the Marsh Properties website are in your price range, and well-managed. They are off Poindexter, near South Blvd, but my daughter lives in a house nearby, and has been pleased with the area. She plans to move into an apt there when her lease is up. Just exercise the caution that you would living anywhere near uptown Charlotte. Prices start a bit below $600. Good luck!

Whoever told you to stay away from University City is incorrect. Just bought a house there and couldn't be happier. Also know someone in an apartment in the area and he's happy too.

Well depends on what people call the Univeristy area. East of 85, especialy Tryon and South of Harris isn't great, it gets better as you go north and West. IMHO.

I don't know where that place is, but I have seen some houses popping up for rent would be great for two or 3 people. $1000 a month or less.
