Hospitals in Lake Norman Communities (Charlotte, Huntersville: hotel, health, ratings)

Can anyone please let me know where the closest, largest medical facility is in approximity to Huntersville area. I know there is a hospital in Huntersville. If someone needed cancer treatment or life saving surgery where is the closest medical facility in relation to Huntersville?

We were looking for the same thing and came across Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.

For anything serious you would in all likelihood go to Carolina Medical Center or Presbyterian, both down in Charlotte. 25 minutes

The one in Huntersville is rather new a few years old and is Presbyterian Hospital. It extremly modern and almost posh. They would be able to handle things like Cancer, surgeries, etc. BTW the expecting moms room is almost like a 4 star hotel room.

I don't know anything about it but I found Carolinas Cancer Care in Huntersvile. They are in the Physicians Plaza adjacent to hospital. The hospital itself is pretty nice. It isn't some small town clinic. LOL

Oh, I did not mean it was not a nice hospital, I did about 30 hours of PT there two summers ago after it just opened, but I feel confident that they would send you downtown, at some level of urgency.
