Hey everyone-

I have a 3 month old blue weimaraner. He just got his final puppy shots so I feel better about letting him go to dog parks now. I went to Frazier Dog Park today which was pretty good. What are the better/best dog parks in Charlotte? Thank you in advance for your comments.

Thank you. Weims are generally a mouse gray color, but occasionally blues are born. Anybody have any opinions on the Pineville-Matthews dog park? Thank you all for the responses

William Davie park off Pineville-Matthews is really nice and usually crowded. Plenty of pups for your dog to play with.

The dog park on Pineville-Matthews road is the largest one in Charlotte I believe. Never had a problem there. 5 acres I think and a separate area for small dogs. There is also one on Monroe Rd I like. I think it's called McAlpine Creek. It's probably the same size as Frazier. If you get bored there, there's are good walking trails down below the soccer fields at the park.

davidnc03 & mikealialex - your pups are cutie patooties!

davidnc03 - You're only a month away but just FYI...puppies under 4 months are not permitted at the dog park. If anyone asks, just says he's a little older

You can find more info on the dog parks, including the rules at Park and Rec Dog Parks (http://www.charmeck.org/Departments/Park+and+Rec/Parks/Dog+Parks/Home.htm - broken link).
