The bf is sick and is annoying me. I need to get him some medicine. He has BCBS. Can we go into one of these clinics and get him some antibiotics?? Anybody used one of these?? To try and find a doctor to wait three weeks for an appointment is useless. Thanks

We've used them 3 times now. If he just has the flu or something, it's fine. They use real doctors and you can get your script right there. Don't know if they accept BCBS. Good Luck

I believe if they don't actually accept BC/BS, you can still file it yourself once you get the paperwork. I think Minute Clinics are a great idea for such things as strep throat . . . get the test, diagnosis and get antibiotics - and you are on your way.

Thanks so much. I know they do flu shots but didn't know the extent of what they treat there. I will get him up now and head on over. FUN FUN

If you have insurance, I'd also recommend an urgent care facility.

Keep in mind though: antibiotics won't do a darn thing for a virus. They only really help when you have the green stuff coming out of your face. The best you can do for a virus is rest, fluids and regular over-the-counter medicine.

yes, they do accept BCBS, I've been to the Ballantyne and Rivergate locations and they are fine for a quick Adult exam. Sinus infection, flu shot, weird rash, etc. Plus they send the prescription across the store and you're set!!

We were in and out in about half an hour including prescription.

And no I couldn't let it go. Do you know what its like to have a grown man whine like a child??? Not for me-hence the childless couple here.

Yep. Guess who's the designated spider crusher in this house?

Men are big babies at heart.
