Greetings, I'm interested in moving to the Charlotte area and am seeking guidance. I reside in Denver, CO my job background is in home and community based services for the aging. I was an Assistant Administrator for a assisted living community. My title also included marketing and admissions director. I have a strong background in property management as well; leasing consultant. Do to circumstances I'm hoping to relocate to Charlotte as soon as a week.

I'm doing so on a prayer. I have a bachelor degree in human resource management and reliable transportation. I like the idea of this being a fresh start, however I'm hoping someone has insight into opportunities in the area of aging services. I'm willing to start over and work any legitimate job. I'll try an extended stay lodging for a short period, however, would really like to transition into permanent residency.

Any guidance would be most appreciated. Thanks!!!

A WEEK???

PLEASE, do yourself a favor and do a little research first! Our job market is tight and my sense is that you won't find the kind you are looking for so easily. How much can you pay for rent? Do you have six months of savings to live on, at least?

The job market is SUPER tight. It took my husband two months to find a job (he was only called by two companies) and I have yet to find work and I have a very strong admin background with my latest position being a Legal Secretary. I just want to warn you. lovesmountains is right. You might want to research more.
