Treat with a synthetic pyrethroid. Bombing for spiders is a poor solution. I've been doing pest control in and around Charlotte for over 25 years. Spiders aren't hard to control if you use the right product and apply it the correct way.

What if you put the car in a garage and closed it off and did a insect/spider bomb or 2 and left the car in there for at least 24 hours without opening it???? Don't know why this thought came to me - but thought I'd share it with you.
I was cleaning the other day and almost out of the corner of my eye was this huge wolf spider right be my head - scared the crap out of me!! and made me think of you!
There has to be a way to get rid of these darn spiders!! Any luck with the etmologist??

LOL....I'm so sorry that I didn't expand on that!! Synthetic pyrethroids are a newer class of chemicals that include active ingredients like bifenthrin, permethrin, deltamethrin, cyfluthrin and many others. They are generally not as toxic to people and domestic animals as some of the older chemical classes but they are still very effective on insects and bugs like spiders....sorry for the confusion!! Let me know if I can help.

Yeah, you're right. It is.
So, I WAS going to be a jackass and post my best spider pic, but decided to be nice to barndog. I will not post a spider pic.
I will however, offer this bit of condolence:
Think of it this way, at least your car wasn't infested with SNAKES!

It's just a common one off the web - no story behind it (other than whoever he is, he got too close) LOL
