Fitness Together (Charlotte, Matthews, Waxhaw: appointed, to buy, money)

Is there anyone out there who has or is currently working with a trainer at the Fitness Together in Ballantyne or in Waxhaw? Looking for feedback on the overall training quality and any specific trainer recommendations.

I say join the Y and use their people. Really cheap and well trained.

What a nightmare experience I had at the Ballantyne studio. The manager Diane refused to fully acknowledge my pre-existing conditions, and the two trainers I dealt with in but two sessions trashed my body by overdoing it. DO NOT trust these people with your most precious asset!

I wasn't very impressed, especially for the type of money they charge. The trainers seemed distracted half the time they were supposed to be working you out and at times were very unprofessional. Don't waste your money.

I find it hard to believe that panther21 had such a bad experience. I have first hand experience and have had a great experience.

Isidnirb - I have first hand experience as well and while yours was great, mine was not. My package lasted about 3 months and I was very disappointed. I have used trainers in the past and for me, Fitness Together was not impressive. Some people there continue to buy sessions and like it just fine. Others I met there were not happy and did not continue.

I went back to the Y and have been happier with a trainer I found there. (cheaper too)
