Are there any real work at home jobs in Charlotte (besides IT)? Everything I come across is a scam . People advertise bogus jobs and applicants like me don't know until we have wasted valuable time applying for WAH jobs that appeared to be legitimate initially. Most of these bogus jobs ask for money for a list or to start a work at home buisness. The ads are very misleading. I just want to do work from home so I can have a flexibility schedule which would work well for my family.

Seeking WAH job,
Angelcakes

Ive heard about arise.com and it seems to be legit. The only thing is you have to pay for training yourself

I would stick to the legit job websites, also read press releases from companies. There are some large (legit) companies that let customer service reps. work from home. Southwest Airlines is one that I know of. Sometimes you can hear kids and dogs barking in the background when you call them to make plane reservations

Default Translation

If anyone looking for work at home is fluent in English and another language there may be an opportunity for simultaneous telephone translation. My wife worked for them for a number of years and was a full time employee (benefits and all). They have since switched to contract employees and most of the previous fulltimers moved on to other companies. I believe the pay is $10+ and there are different shifts available. Their site is languageline.com.
