I've used ORHP for the last 3 years. The annual plan cost hasn't gone up in that time, but the call fee has. However, it's still been far cheaper than it would have been to pay a repair service myself.
We have used American Home Shield for 3 years, and have never had a problem. We request service online, and the service calls are $60. I pay $530 a year, and would never go with out it. American Home Shield
Thanks! I am going to give them a call as my warranty is up 5/29/11 with AHS. There service fee is $60 and yearly cost is $562.
Looks like I could go with $325/$75 service or $350/$60 service.
Are they comparable in service? The $212 is very appealing and could go towards a small home project.
Make sure you look at what as covered so you are comparing apples to apples.
I also use AHS. All of my appliances are at least 12 years old {and just realized yesterday that my water heater is 25 years old!} so I can't imagine not having it.
My old neighbor in south charlotte had AHS and loved it. She replaced several high ticketed items over the years and never had an issue with them balking at paying for it. I would suggest them as well.
I have had AHS and recommend them to a friend. My realtor bought the current one I have from a different company for my closing but now I am up for renewal. I will look into that other one first but I have not had problems with AHS.
