I am moving to Union County in a few weeks, and I would like to know where parks and recreation facilities are. Our neighborhood will eventually have a playground in it, but I'd like to know if there are other public areas with playgrounds that I can bring my kids to as well as places to go bike riding, play sports, etc. My son plays T-ball. I would like him to continue.

What other things are there to do in Union County or nearby areas for families with children? I have 3 kids - ages 3, 6, and 13.

Also, my kids have go-karts. Can anyone recommend places we can ride them without getting in trouble?

you can find a lot of useful info on the Union County Chamber Website. http://www.unioncountycoc.com/cultural.html (broken link) I hope this helps. Crane Creek Park is beautiful and there are several other smaller parks. There are also youth sports held by towns as well as the YMCA.
