Opinion abt Canterfield appreciated! (Charlotte, Harrisburg: crime, homes, neighborhoods)

Hello Charlotteans,
I moved in to Charlotte, NC 6 months before with my family. We have decided to buy a home here. When we spend lil time findin home, we found the Canterfield area homes fits right in our budget. But we would be glad to know abt the area schools, crime stats, traffic (no wonder I'm human) Since, its a huge investment, we really are concerned abt the things! I appreciate ur genuine guidance, help, suggestions!

There are three areas with the name Canterfield: Canterfield Creek in Union Co.; and two in Cabarrus Co. (Estates, and something else?). If you're talking about Canterfield Creek in Union County, that's one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the area. You can check the school rating from my website. If you're talking about Cabarrus Co., I'm not sure but think the site would be http://www.ccps.k12.nc.us (broken link). If you need more details send mea pm. I can check it out for you.
