What the deal with sea salt Brownies
are they deep sea salt brownies?
Do they heal the skin like regular deep sea salt does?
Do they taste like salt like my sister use to make when she read 1 cup of salt when it said one cup of sugar?
I don't know Sunny, but they didn't sound so good to me. One day on Good Morning America they were eating Olive Oil ice cream with sea salt on top and saying how delicious it was. I don't get it, but it must be good??
The sea salt brownies are just regular (OK, delicious) brownies with some sea salt sprinkled on top. It just intensifies the whole sweet & salty thing. I happen to be a HUGE fan of that combo, like kettle corn, and these brownies are just so awesome.
Thanks to everyone for the good wishes about my Mom!!! Yes, Dad will be staying with me. This took us by surprise. The doc had said she needed this new UNAPPROVED (by FDA) surgery . . .and she refused to get a second opinion which makes me and my sister very nervous. Her generation takes the word of docs to be the gospel handed down from on high. So I feel this is precipitous and am very worried about it . . . new procedure . . . just don't like the sound of it.
Anyway, cooking today and freezing stuff so they will have meals. They are not into Stouffers, wh/ is too bad, as you guys know I stay stocked up on Stouffers, Hee Hee. I thought I could bring Stouffers up there but when your elderly dad says "Well, I am looking forward to your cooking me some meals"
- what can you say?
Thank you all again for your thoughts and prayers. I just don't have a good feeling about this b/c of it being a new unapproved procedure - and no second opinion. Just odd to me.
Ani - Hope everything goes well for your Mom and family...
THanks, UNCGdad! Her age worries me . . . just harder to have surgery when you are nearly 80.
