Uncle Sam's pockets are empty . . . and I am hoping I don't have to fill 'em up too much on this end, LOL!!!!

Would love to see you, John, and a great group together so far . . . sure wish more would join in. I am tentatively saying YES and trying to work things around on this end . . . DH is being much too focused on taxes, LOL. A break at Ri Ra w/ CD friends would be a most welcomed respite, seems to me . . . and a nice way to start off the New Year.

Has anybody seen the video involving the kids getting a Wii for Christmas?

YouTube - Wii Scream - Just the Scream

They get this family gift, the "Santa Gift", a gift for the whole family. The kids open it up and find out it's a Wii. The kid in the middle....watch his face as he winds up and...

It's up to you if you want to turn your speakers up to get the full effect of what this kid in the middle does....

It is open for everyone. You can look for the thread marked New Years gathering or something like that. I am going too, it is so close to my job and can't wait to meet some of the goofey people that I read all about. I am not on a lot but I am going to try to be on more now.

I'm gonna have to bag on tomorrow night. I'll make absolutely sure to catch everyone on the next meetup though.

Hey, CHI!!!! Well, working on it. DH feels either I stay here and help sort out tax info or he gets to come, too . . . Noisy situations are not the best for him as he has a hearing impairment. Y'all will have to shout at him, Hee Hee. He is not a native and really enjoys meeting other people, especially non-Southerners who he can understand. He says he can't have a conversation w/ me in the dark cause he can't understand half of what I say (without reading my lips) since moving back here. He swears my Southern accent has gotten much more pronounced since moving back here (and of course - he is right!)
