Safe travels, Peyton! We will be thinking about you in IL and those snowstorms - hope the weather doesn't get too oppressive.

Well, if I get a picture worth posting I will share it. Wish I could catch some deer out in the woods . . .

Get a big net! You could probably catch one if you are fast!

I think the snow is over out here for a few days. Good with me, I'd rather have dry roads.

Dinner! I actually don't remember ever having deer meat. Do they make good sandwiches?

I make some mighty good venison stew!!! LOL!! Unfortunately, they won't let me hunt in my backyard. (I know - someone is gonna start crying - Anifani is talking about killing Bambi).

Now you all know I still cry when I watch Bambi. But a freezer full of good venison would be kinda nice . . .

It's like Ted Nugent would say, "You've got to kill it before you can grill it".

Backyard hunting. That's funny stuff. I'm sure people do it in many places (rural) but never heard of it in the city. Maybe the city deer are too savvy to get shot. They probably would actually shoot back now that I think about it. I'll have to try some of that stew someday.

These deer are so used to people = I used to try scaring them off my property (cause they eat my shrubs and flowers) - so would bring pots outside and bang them. They just look at me like "what's your problem, lady?" Then, they start eating again, LOL!!!!

Yes, I could have a big ole City Data BBQ if the city would just let me aim and fire in my own backyard!!!!
