Count me in on this new adventure.
Ani, I feel your pain. I had gone to my absolute magician of a hairdresser for 11 years (Washington DC)....lo and behold I called for my usual appointment a month later and was told that not only was he no longer at that salon, he was DEAD (an early casualty of AIDS...RIP Daniel)
This is a trauma....only those who have ever suffered a horrifying haircut can truly relate. When I moved here, I tried a few hairdressers who came highly recommended and none were to my liking. Then I discovered Aveda Institute and I have LOVED that place. Its not expensive, but more importantly, I like the way they cut hair. And I am a big fuss budget when it comes to my hair!
Good luck, hon.....I feel your pain!

The stangest thing happen to me today
We were playing golf and right in the middle of my partner chipping onto to the 16th green a funeral procession passed. He stopped the swing. Put his club down and bowed his head.
When the cars passed I said"Barry., that was the kindest, most sensistive thing I have ever seen you do"
He answered "Yep, I was married to her for 35 years"

Question for the Mod
Any chance that software for "chat" can be installed that show how many people are in the "chat room"?

I haven't been myself, but I've heard other ladies I know talk about the Aveda Institute. I've only heard good things about it.

I havent heard anything from the grape vine but just like some of the other features I didnt hear through the vines either nor did other mods it was pretty much learn as members was learning. I would imagine it would take alot of resources. If I remember correctly from the "About This Forum" the reason who's online has been disable is due to the volume of traffic this site receives that it would bog the system down from the members logging in and out .
I kinda like this format for chat than a regular chat room if you step away from the computer you least have a chance to catch up if you want.
You know what would be cool if this site became as big as face book or myspace
