Yes, it makes me kinda sad. I expect you are like me - and been the clueless little penguin more than once. I long ago accepted that in life, we can be doing all the right things and something whaps the hell outta us and we are left to deal w/ the destruction, often in a rather stunned state. I guess my bemusement is b/c - having survived those WHAPS - I look at the little guy and think - Oh, dear - another life lesson - but you will make it!
What would make it perfect is if the assaultive Penguin had a sign around his neck reading "Supposed Friend" or "Trusted Business Associate."
I think the holidays brings out the weird in everyone. LOL
