Have you bought Silk? It's at all regular grocery stores.

Also, just an aside, do your research on the use of soy, especially in young women. I know of two different situations where a teenage girl and a premenopausal woman got DEATHLY ill from ingesting too much soy. Just be aware, it's not for everyone.

I've also heard it's detrimental to people with thyroid issues (can limit thyroid hormone absorption.) It also has a weak estrogen effect which is why you probably heard about the women who over-ingested it having a problem.

However, I also know most studies have been inconclusive so, as with anything else -- everything in moderation!

I bought soy milk last week at Aldi because a friend was visiting and she is allergic to regular milk. Well, she left and I had this quart of soy milk...unopened...what was I going to do? (never tried it before) Used it with my tomato soup (to make cream of tomato) and it had a distictly "nutty" flavour. Now, I am not a fan of nuts, so, I did not like it, but, is that the way it is supposed to taste?
