Down in Miami on special holidays, you could pick up some nice flowers for a decent price at certain gas stations. Does that happen up here? Thanks

Not that I have ever seen. There are so many growers in Florida - I would suspect growers are able to stock flowers at nearly any outlet at such reasonable prices . . . makes it feasible. Here, flowers have to be shipped in and that adds to cost . . .

We need a Flowerama here.

LOL very true. Just figured I'd ask. I always like to have fresh flowers on table for Turkey day and I will be giving some to my immediate neighbors as well.

The BP had flowers last valentine's day I believe...(near Woodlawn & 77) It was close to my work so I got lucky.

There was a guy who set up shop in the parking lot.

If you look, I'm sure you can find some.

Aldi's in NY always had a great selection of flowers for $2.99. Haven't visited a store here yet, but it might be worth a look!

Trader Joe's and Harris Teeter . . . those places are usually where I get my fresh cut flowers.

I've seen a station in Mint Hill that has roses for sale pretty cheap around Valentine's Day. I can't give you a location though.

Fresh Market also has beautiful flowers. Don't know if they are cheap or not though...
