We have bought the Bojangles turkey the last three years and already have one ordered for this Thanksgiving. My family loves it.

There is NOTHING better than a deep fried spicy turkey. IMO.

I've never tried their turkey but I love Bojangles! I have had Boston Market's turkey and it is delicious. Boston Market's side dishes are great too. At work they usually cater a Thanksgiving "dinner" from Boston Market and it is always good!

Bojangles is a great FF place, but I just don't eat that type of stuff more than 1-2x a month. When we picnic or camp we do get Bo-Jo or KFC and completely enjoy it.
Actually this week some friends and I are fishing on Cape Lookout for 4 nights.
We will take lots of BoJo chicken to toss in the cooler in case we do not get that great of a catch.
A night shot I took in 2006 from the Cape:

Honeybaked Ham also does a deep fried cajun turkey and I got many "best turkey I have ever had" responses. Bojangles had some restictions on when you had to pick up the turkey so we went with Honeybaked Ham as you can just walk in whenever and stick it in the fridge.

My family has ordered these before. Each time it was good, but I would warn you to talk to the staff to determine exactly how "cooked" it will be. I remember one year the thing was hot when we got it, we just took it home and put it in the oven to warm. A second time, to our dismay, it was not fully cooked. It was not frozen, but we had to cook it for an hour or so to warm it up.
As for Bojangle's food, its an "acquired taste", LOL. Personally I love their fries, the dirty rice and the cajun pintos. The fries in particular. I have friends who visit from up North and we "must" get some of their fries when they're here. On the other hand, their chicken to me is nothing special. I like Popeyes much better, but unfortunatley we dont' have those here.

If this is the route you're going to go, I'd second Boston Market. Never had a turkey from either place but the regular food (i.e. chicken) at Bojangles is just awful.

I come from a large family that celebrates thanksgiving together. We oven bake a turkey and get a bojangles turkey every year. The bojangles turkeys are always tender and full of flavor. They are deep fried and give a different spin on a classic feast. I recommend highly.
Let me also say that bojangles is a southern/cajun fast foot place. If you dont like spicy fried chicken then you wont like bojangles. Also as with any other fast food place (especially chicken places) if you dont get the food fresh than its going to suck. I love bojangles but I will admit it has been really bad at times. Turkeys are made the day of or within a few hours so they are always great.
