Safe, clean hotel that will allow pets!
We are making the final plans for our move to Indian Trail. We will be driving down the night of closing with 4 kids, a cat, a dog, 2 cars, and a moving van We need a place to spend the night that will allow us to keep our cat and dog in the room. I would also like it to be safe since our moving truck will be with us. If it's close to Union County, that's a bonus! Can anyone recommend a hotel/motel that meets that criteria? TIA!!!!

The Country Inn & Suites on 74 in Matthews. It's close to Indian Trail. It's very clean and they allow pets. We stayed there everytime we came down to research our move.

Also the Holiday Inn Express on 74 also allows pets and is decent. We stayed there on our move down. Best of luck!

Dan- did you move down recently? we moved in November and the Holiday Inn Express said they didn't allow pets. I am not sure if it has changed since then or if it changed since you moved. But we ended up staying at the Country Inn on 74 that everyone else recommends. They were great and cheap, sorry inexpensive.

It was actually 2 years ago. They only had 2 rooms that they used to service people with pets. My friend tried a few weeks ago but was told they did not have any of the pet rooms available, that they were already booked. I do not think they changed the policy but I could be wrong.

Oh the rooms may have been full and they just said that because there actually were no rooms available. But then again it was 4am and we were all tired.

Hotel
We stayed with our 85 pound black lab for 13 days at the Staybridge Suites on John J Delaney Dr in the Ballantyne area. Not far from UnionCounty (we live in Waxhaw) and really nice place
